Programs and Program Evaluations
The HCRC is in the process of assembling information about Pre-K programs and is planning to add information about school age programs and adolescent/early adult transition programs.
Pre-K Programs
A number of states have Pre-K programs that are fully or partially funded by state funds. Some of these programs have been in existence for a number of years, whereas other programs have only recently been implemented. The links below are overviews of Pre-K programs in selected states with various links to more specific information on each program. In addition to the selected states, “Additional Resources on Pre-K Programs” has links to other pertinent states and overall resources regarding Pre-K programs. This page also has links to the 2006 Minnesota Governor’s Summit on School Readiness.
